Nova Wallet X (Twitter) Account Compromised
We want to inform our community that the official @NovaWalletApp account on X (Twitter) has been compromised. No one from the Nova Wallet team currently has access to this account, and it is currently used to share scam content. We’re taking this incident extremely seriously and have activated our crisis response protocol to protect users and restore communications.
Incident Summary
The Nova Wallet team lost access to our official X (Twitter) account, @NovaWalletApp, due to unauthorized access by malicious actors through phishing attack.
We strongly urge all users to avoid clicking any links or interacting with the compromised account until further notice.
User Safety Assurance
We want to make one thing absolutely clear:
Your funds are safe.
Nova Wallet is a self-custodial wallet, meaning only users have access to their assets and private keys.
This incident does not affect:
- Wallet balances
- Backend systems or infrastructure
- Any private user data
However, to prevent falling victim to scams, please avoid clicking any links posted by the compromised account and do not connect your wallet to any dApps or promotions originating from it.
Immediate Actions Taken
As soon as the breach was detected, we took the following steps:
- Reviewed and revoked all access to internal tools and credentials that could potentially be compromised.
- Submitted multiple account recovery requests to X (Twitter) Support.
- Published scam warnings across our other verified communication channels.
- Aligned internally to ensure consistent messaging from the team.

Please note:
Nova Wallet will never DM users, ask for personal wallet information, or run promotions via unofficial channels.
Additionally, Nova Wallet is not responsible for losses incurred from interacting with fraudulent links or accounts. Please stay vigilant and always verify sources before engaging.
