Nova Wallet receives a funding donation from DFG to cover expenses during the transition period
The Nova Foundation team is happy to announce donation support from DFG (Digital Finance Group) to cover the transition expenses of the Nova team (learn more: link). This will allow our team in Nova Foundation to focus on what we do best — developing high-quality apps for the Polkadot & Kusama ecosystem — and will cover the expenses of opening a new company, paying salaries to the employees for an initial period, as well as other expenses (purchasing software for work, hardware, etc.).
With this support, our team would be able to deliver what we have promised to the Kusama community — multi-asset application for the Polkadot & Kusama ecosystem (see the proposal: link), as well as have time and resources to propose new features for Nova Wallet to the Kusama community. In addition to that, we have plans to start working on brand new products for the ecosystem, so stay tuned for the announcements!
At Nova Foundation, our goal is to build high-quality client apps for the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystems. Nova Wallet aims to be a community-oriented mobile application in the ecosystem, so we are focused on providing as many features as we can without any limitations or restrictions to our users.
“DFG is putting a lot of effort to support the whole Polkadot ecosystem — from infrastructure projects to the parachains. My point of view is that one of DFG’s goals is to improve the overall quality of the Polkadot ecosystem by supporting and encouraging a wide range of projects in it.
By receiving this donation from DFG, the Nova Wallet team is going to deliver what we have promised to the Kusama community, but now as an independent team and company. We appreciate this opportunity & support, and we guarantee to will deliver high-quality product for the Polkadot ecosystem.”
Anton Khvorov, CEO of Nova Foundation
“We are very happy to be working closely to the Nova Foundation and after carefully analyzing the Polkadot ecosystem, as one of it’s most loyal investors, it has come to our attention that the team developing the Nova Polkadot Wallet has incredibly useful and innovative ideas that will continue to push Polkadot and Kusama service providers to become a more secure and user-friendly ecosystem.
We are very excited to have their trust, and bandwidth, to assist them in their transition process and aimed growth goals working for a better environment that will facilitate mass adoption of Kusama and Polkadot.”
James, CEO of DFG
